Stateside Vodka, the maker of Surfside canned cocktails, has chosen to relocate its corporate headquarters to Center City, writes Paul Schwedelson for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
Stateside Vodka has signed a new 11-year lease at 1100 Ludlow Street, where it will be taking up 34,200 square feet of the building across the fifth and sixth floors.
According to Stateside CEO Jim Romano, the company plans to make its return to Philadelphia in early spring 2026.
“In our heart of hearts, we always knew we were a Philly company,” Romano said. “The city of Philadelphia is where we wanted to be, what our vibe is, what our culture is.”
Stateside currently operates out of a 10,000 square feet space in Feasterville-Trevose, moving there on a temporary basis last year as a result of its rapid growth.
Romano stated that the firm plans to move about 60 of its 260 employees to the new Center City office, with an eye toward doubling its headcount over the next few years.
While Stateside considered several other areas for it’s new corporate headquarters, Center City won out after a staff survey.
“We just found that Center City had more of the action that we thought was appropriate for our culture,” Romano said.
