New luxury apartments being built at the Promenade at Granite Run in Media will also have two health centers opening in the next few months on the ground-floor retail space there, writes Lisa Dukart for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
HiLo House and SweatHouz will open near each other at 1127 W. Baltimore Pike, in the apartment building Eleven33.
It’s the latest development at the Promenade, which will also have a Wonder food hall, set to open in November.
This is HiLo House’s second location and its first in Pennsylvania. It will be the first Delaware County location for franchise SweatHouz, also scheduled to open in late November.
SweatHouz provides contrast therapy in 10 private suites, exposing individuals to hot temperatures in an infrared sauna before a cold plunge.
SweatHouz is owned by Carrie O’Donnell Ratz, a native of Swarthmore, and her husband, Peter Ratz.
HiLo House, which specializes in Lagree Megaformer, which uses resistance and counter-resistance, and VersaClimber classes, a vertical cardio climber, will open in January or February.
“For us, [opening in Media is] about continuing and expanding on this amazing community that exists here in Wilmington,” said Ann Phillips, the co-owner of HiLo House.
