September events across Chester County offer residents the perfect way to wrap up the summer and head into fall, writes Gina Lizzo for Main Line Today.
Here are five events happening in and around the county to add to your fall bucket list.
Radnor Hunt Concours d’Elegance—Malvern. This three-day event from Sept. 5-7 features automobile enthusiasts as they display cars and motorcycles. On top of the automotive festivities, the event also features a Friday Night Barbecue, a gala on Saturday, and local vendors throughout the weekend.
Devon Fall Classic—Devon. A perfect fall follow-up to the Devon Horse Show, the Devon Fall Classic once again brings a stellar lineup of equestrian events to the same fairgrounds. Set for Sept. 11-14, the Fall Classic will also include amusement rides, shopping, food and drink vendors, and more.
Art Show—Wayne. A new exhibition at the Colonna Contemporary, Syntax of Sorrow features artwork across a variety of media. Submitted pieces grapple with AI and its intersection with human emotions for a thought-provoking display that will open on Sept. 12.
Mt. Joy Performance—Philadelphia. Mt. Joy, which features Conestoga High School graduates Sam Cooper and Matt Quinn, will perform at The Mann Center on Sept. 26-27. Attend one or two shows from the two-night stint to hear indie rock at the band’s hometown performance.
Main Line Music Festival—Wayne. On Sept. 27, see a wide range of live music at Wilson Farm Park for this annual music festival. The lineup includes blues singer Deb Callahan and a Taylor Swift tribute group, Swiftie & The Midnights.
