Wonder food halls are rapidly expanding in the Philadelphia region and there are plans for three Delaware County locations, writes Torin Sweeney for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
In total, Wonder is planning to open 12 more sites in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties by the end of 2025. It currently has seven Wonder locations open.
In Delaware County, Wonder is coming to Media, Ridley, and Newtown Square.
The company describes itself as “a new kind of food hall. Wonder partnered with 27 restaurants and brands so customers can order a variety of foods, such as steak, pizza, and Mexican, all from the same location.
Each site typically has menus with about 20 options.
The Media location, on Baltimore Pike at the Promenade at Granite Run, is expected to open in November.
The Ridley Wonder location at the former Maria’s Bakery at Morton Avenue and MacDade Boulevard is opening Oct. 9.
Newtown Square’s location at 3741 West Chester Pike opened Sept. 18.
Wonder promises quick service, with customer orders completed within 30 minutes via pickup or delivery.
The new Wonder locations have dine-in seating, as well as take-out and delivery options.
