To combat the summer heat, Trevose-based Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard is bringing back the beloved Gummy Bear flavor. From now until August 24, customers can check out participating locations to purchase the sweet frozen treat.
The company originally introduced the flavor in 2023, and it quickly became a fan favorite. Rita’s is excited to bring it back for a limited time.
The water ice features white Italian Ice that tastes like gummy bears with real gummy bears mixed in to enhance the flavor.
“At Rita’s, we’re focused on creating craveable experiences that tap into nostalgia and spark joy, and the return of Gummy Bear Italian Ice is a perfect example,” said Madalyn Weintraub, Senior Director of Marketing at Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard.
The company is also introducing its new Glittery Gummy Bear Gelati. This dessert features layers of vanilla custard and Gummy Bear Italian Ice with a sparkly Unicorn Glitter topping.
“We’re thrilled to bring it back in a new way with our Glittery Gummy Bear Gelati, a treat that amplifies everything fans love, with even more magic and visual appeal,” said Weintraub.
