Rumors surrounding Gordon Ramsay and Wilson’s Secret Sauce in Upper Darby bore out after the restaurant was featured in a recent episode of Ramsay’s new show, Gordon Ramsay’s Secret Service.

Ramsay was at Wilson’s with a film crew in March, but participants were mum on what it was all about.

The biggest change Gordon Ramsay made at Wilson’s Secret Sauce was slimming down the menu.

“I had 73 items. We went down to 13. And we are up to around 25 now. We have a lot of people calling and asking for things that were on the old menu,” he said.

Wilson said it was a great experience working with Gordon Ramsay.

“When I met him, he looked at me as somebody who was probably ready to fight, and instead, I cried. I broke. I’m under so much pressure every day. I just want my family to be proud of what we’re accomplishing.”

The publicity for Wilson’s surrounding Ramsay’s show has been “overwhelmingly positive,” he said, including a million views of his Facebook page in 90 days.
