The Pottstown and Norristown Walmarts are preparing to enhance their shopping experience, writes PhillyBite Magazine.
The retail giant will renovate the two Montco stores along with 24 others in the state.
The move is part of the company’s nationwide commitment to modernize its locations with a more inviting look while improving the overall customer experience.
According to the retailer, the new design offers a brighter and more modern look, with interiors with clear signage and new merchandise displays. The upgrade will also include improvements to online shopping, as well as online pickup and delivery areas.
“By investing in our stores and associates, we are not only improving the shopping experience but also reinforcing our commitment to being a vital part of the community’s fabric, helping to build a brighter future for all,” said Annie Walker, Senior Vice President, East Business Unit at Walmart.
Local stores to undergo upgrades include the Philadelphia location at 4600 Roosevelt Boulevard Building G; Norristown at 650 South Trooper Road and Pottstown at 233 Shoemaker Road in Montgomery County; Elverson at 100 Crossings Boulevard in Chester County; Boothwyn at 605 Conchester Highway and Glenolden at 50 North MacDade Boulevard in Delaware County.
