Food & Wine Names Rittenhouse Square Restaurant Among Top 15 in the Nation

PIC Food & Wine's newest list of the top 15 restaurants in the nation worth visiting features one Rittenhouse Square restaurant (My Loup) at number eight.

Food & Wine is handing out its third annual Global Tastemakers awards, compiling a list of the top 15 restaurants worth visiting in the United States, writes Becky Duffett for the publication.

A Philadelphia restaurant found its way firmly onto the list.

Right in the middle of the list at number 8 is My Loup in Rittenhouse Square.

Opening its doors in 2023, the traditional French-Canadian restaurant is owned by Amanda Shulman, alongside her husband and partner Alex Kemp.

Last year, the eatery was named a semifinalist for a James Beard Award in the Best New Restaurant category.

Shulman is no stranger to praise from Food & Wine. She was named 2023 Best New Chef by the publication for her first restaurant, Her Place, which opened in 2021.

My Loup features a seasonal menu that changes on a daily basis.

There, you can indulge in a nice selection of options, including seafood plateaus, braised rabbit, foie gras, and escargot, among many others.

You can also wash it down with your choice of various classic cocktails.

My Loup is also beloved for its library-like dining room, complete with books and wallpaper.
