Several generations of Italian Americans have made their home here in Delaware County, so it’s not surprising that there are plenty of good Italian restaurants to be found here.

Main Line Today’s Kylee Steigelman has compiled a list of 47 Italian restaurant that can be found here at home.

Ariano in Media, a rustic, family-owned restaurant named after Ariano Irpino, a town in the Campania region of Italy, where the chef’s family is from. They bring a new dimension to their pizzas with unique toppings.

DePaul’s Table in Ardmore is a modern Italian steakhouse where steaks are matched with Italian flavors. The restaurant has won several awards.

Fava Ristorante Italiano in Glen Mills offers Italian-Mediterranean fusion cuisine with an extensive wine menu.  The menu changes seasonally.

The family-owned Pinocchio’s Restaurant in Media is the first pizzeria in Delaware County, started in 1955, and is the oldest restaurant in Media.

Rosalie Wayne in Wayne joins Italian soul food with atmospheric dining, using locally-sourced seasonal ingredients. 

Teca Newtown Square has provided delicious Italian meals for more than a decade and has hand-tossed pizza baked in a wood-fired oven.
