CNA (Full Time)
Dunwoody Village in Newtown Square is currently seeking dedicated and caring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join its team in Memory Care and Personal Care for a Full-Time position from 7 AM to 3 PM, which includes working a weekend and holiday rotation.
Those hired will receive a $4,000 sign-on bonus during their first year of employment.
Certified Nursing Assistant/CNA job duties include providing exceptional resident care according to a Plan of Care, assisting residents with personal care and hygiene, and providing a safe environment for residents and colleagues.
Eligible candidates must meet the following qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience working in a Memory Care neighborhood with residents who have Alzheimer’s, dementia, and other cognitive conditions. Personal Care and Memory Care experience strongly preferred.
- Must be a PA-licensed Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with current CPR certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of long-term care experience and excellent assessment skills.
- Point Click Care experience strongly preferred.

Full-Time Unit Coordinator
Dunwoody Village is seeking an experienced Unit Coordinator to join its caring and talented team in Personal Care, Memory Care, and Dunwoody at Home.
The care center is made up of 81 skilled care rooms and 81 personal care rooms, and this role ensures that operations run smoothly and efficiently for residents and staff. Some of the key essential functions of the position include the following:
- Preparing and compiling medical records.
- Scheduling appointments and arranging for transportation for our care center residents.
- Takes weekend call for Dunwoody at Home every other weekend.
- Works closely with the Dunwoody at Home team to recruit, onboard, and coordinate new staff orientation.
- Scanning medical records and documents for the electronic medical record.
- Coordinate companions for residents when attending medical appointments.
- Assists nursing staff with admission and discharge administration.
- Maintains/updates daily CNA assignment sheets.
- Serves as a backup receptionist as necessary.
- Answers phone at the nursing station and directs calls.
- Maintains appropriate inventory of forms and supplies.
The ideal candidate is best described below:
- A minimum of 3 years of broad clerical/administrative experience in a busy medical setting – preferably in a CCRC.
- Superb administrative skills with a detail-oriented approach to completing tasks.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word. Working knowledge of Point/Click/Care is strongly desired.
- Proficiency in medical terminology is strongly preferred.

Full Time Cook
Dunwoody Village is currently seeking experienced cooks for two (2) full-time opportunities. Those interested must be available to work various shifts, which include a holiday and weekend rotation.
Those hired will receive a $1,000 sign on bonus paid during their first year of employment.
In 2023, Dunwoody Village completed a $24 million capital project to renovate all aspects of the Dining Services operation completely. This position will have access to all new and state-of-the-art equipment to do their job.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 2 years of experience producing food in mass quantities.
- Fine dining experience in a CCRC setting is strongly preferred.
- The ideal candidate must be willing to work with all levels of staff and management and should have experience in both hot and cold food preparation.
- Candidates must also be available to work during various shifts on weekends, holidays, and during special functions, as scheduled.
- Applicants without relevant experience will not be considered for this position.
