For flavorful and affordable West African comfort food, head to Suya Suya in Northern Liberties. Their chicken bowl with rice, Brussels sprouts, and sweet plantains comes in just under $14.
Grab a mouthwatering platter of char-grilled piri piri chicken at Gilda in Fishtown for $17. It features chili-garlic marinated thighs served over saffron rice and topped with shoestring fries.
