Feeling like a little Delco flavor in your food but don’t want to spend a lot?

Visit Delco PA has a list of “no frills” restaurants that satisfy hometown cravings but keep it casual and less expensive.

Charlie’s Hamburgers

This low key local haunt at 237 E. MacDade Blvd. in Folsom is a favorite burger joint. It’s been around since 1935.

The Hungry A

This breakfast, lunch and coffee spot at 755 W. Sproul Road, Springfield has been around since 1964. It’s got grilled hot buttered sticky buns, breakfast sandwiches,  club sammies, BLTs, burgers and more, all under $10.

Country Deli

This family restaurant at 1176 Middletown Road in Gradyville has had memorable breakfasts and lunches — each under $10— for more than three decades.

Bonus: Wednesday night is Pasta Night.

Jim’s Steaks

A Philly steak shop at 439 Baltimore Pike, Stoney Creek Center, Springfield around since 1939 that will ship anywhere in the U.S.  It’s perhaps best known for being Tina Fey’s favorite.

The Little Hut Sandwich Shop

Huge handhelds, unique cutlet specialties and a flaming rooster cheesesteak is their claim to fame.  It’s at 650 E. Chester Pike in Ridley Park.

The Llanerch Diner

This diner at 95 E. Township Line Road in Upper Darby is a throwback to a simpler time, and it’s in “Silver Linings Playbook.”
