Ruth’s Chris Steak House coming to Ellis Preserve in Newtown Square

Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is coming to Newtown Square, opening March 31.

Ellis Preserve in Newtown Square is getting a Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse, writes Vince Carey for the Daily Times, as reported in the Daily Local News.

The high-end steakhouse arrives March 31 at 2745 Equus Blvd. 

“Our founder, Ruth Fertel, believed that dining at an upscale steak house should feel approachable for everyone,” said Michael Krywucki, general manager of the Newtown Square restaurant. “Our team is excited to welcome guests and introduce Newtown Square to the exceptional service and perfectly sizzling steaks Ruth’s Chris is known for.”

The Ruth’s Chris Steak House’s menu features a range of premium steaks cooked with a patented broiling method.

Popular choices include the center-cut filet, the bone-in New York Strip and the 40-ounce well-marbled Tomahawk Ribeye.

The restaurant also offers fresh seafood, appetizers and sides served family-style, along with in-house desserts.

The bar provides handcrafted cocktails and an award-winning wine list.

The Newtown Square restaurant is 8,272 square feet. It features a main dining room, expansive bar area, patio seating and space for private events.

The dining room is open daily for dinner, Monday to Thursday from 4 to 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 4 to 10:30 p.m., and Sunday from 4 to 9 p.m.
