Media Borough native Erin Dolan, an ESPN analyst, is dating Phillies’ third baseman Alec Bohm.
Dolan confirmed she is dating Bohm. They both attended a Fanatics Super Bowl party Saturday and were at the big game on Sunday, writes Rob Tomoe and Gabriela Carroll for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
“Yes, I do date Alec Bohm,” Dolan said during a Super Bowl interview Friday. “Having someone who’s in the same industry [and being able] to support each other is great, just because you deal with the same outside noise a lot of people don’t understand.”
“We try to keep it low-key,” Dolan added.
Dolan had her brother as her security guard last year when she was at the Super Bowl in Las Vegas. This year, Bohm performed that duty at the Superdome in New Orleans.
“He’s coming to support me in my biggest moment, just like I would do the same for him,” Dolan said.
There have been trade rumors in the Phillies offseason about Bohm after a disappointing performance during the playoffs.
Phillies manager Rob Thomson said they are not “shopping” Bohm, but because he’s a good player, “there’s a whole of interest in him from other teams.”
