Jason Kelce Reveals Who He’s Rooting for in Super Bowl 59

Many have Jason Kelce pegged for the Hall of Fame but he has his own favorites for that honor.

Talk about a rock and a hard place. Super Bowl 59 is a conundrum for Jason Kelce.

Does the retired Philadelphia Eagles All-Pro center from Haverford support his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, or does he throw his support behind his former teammates?

Kelce’s been thinking about it and he’s got an answer, writes Steve Gardner for USA Today.

Jason Kelce reveals that answer on the latest edition of the New Heights podcast released Wednesday morning.

“I’ll always root for my brother,” Jason said. “But there’s a lot of people in the Philadelphia organization … that feel like extended family to me …

“I’m rooting for those guys too.”

So, basically, he’s splitting his support down the middle.

“I’m rooting for Philadelphia and I’m rooting for Travis Kelce. That’s the reality of it,” he admitted.

“No matter what, on game day I’m going to be happy for one of those sides. And I’m going to be sad for the other side.”

The Chiefs have a 1.5-point favorite in the Super Bowl 59, which begins 6:30 PM ET, Sunday, Feb. 9, in New Orleans.
