Finding affordable airline tickets is tricky these days, with airline ticket prices jumping 25 percent in the last 12 months, outpacing even inflation, writes Stacey Leasca for Travel & Leisure.
Even so, the savvy traveler who knows when and where to book a flight can still find deals and bargains, according to Laura Lindsay, a Skyscanner travel trends and destinations expert.
“For leisure travel and activities, the answer is usually midweek as most people want to travel at weekends,” Lindsay said.
How booked a flight is can determine the kind of ticket price you’ll pay, according to Lindsay.
