In recent years, an increasing number of residents in the Philadelphia region have opted to outsource outdoor Christmas decorations to professional landscapers.
Company owner Vince Del Vacchio attributes the growing demand for professional expertise to both physical hazards and “neighborly competitiveness.” He notes that residents might not want to risk climbing rooftops to install their own lights, and that once customers outsource the labor to professionals, their neighbors soon follow.
Professional holiday lighting varies in price point, depending on the building and display size. Philadelphia’s Four Seasons Property Services costs residents an average of $2,000 to $3,000 for professional lighting, with discounts for returning customers.
Having offered the service since 2001, Del Vacchio Landscapes is slated to complete over 300 residential and commercial holiday decorating projects this year alone. With demand for their expertise increasing each year, Del Vacchio looks to make holiday decorating easier for customers old and new.
