Manfredi, who named her farm Ascoli Piceno Stables in honor of her Italian heritage, has enjoyed her best racing success in the last two years, led by Crisper, a homebred out of her mare Je Suis Enchantee.

The gelding secured the stable’s first two stakes victories, winning on the turf in the Summer Fun Stakes at Penn National and the Alphabet Soup Handicap at Parx, earning just under $300,000 in total.

Cuenca also had a streak of seven victories in 2022 and 2023, while another turf horse, Lacco Ameno, won three times on the grass. Both of the horses have earned more than $140,000. The pair came from the same mare, Sharp As A Fox.

Sharp As a Fox was part of Manfredi’s prize on American Dream Derby. She received $250,000 and all eight horses that took part in the final race.
