Here Are the Best Bucks County Spots to Go if You’re Looking to Celebrate Oktoberfest
The annual Oktoberfest is fast approaching and Bucks County has some German beer-centric events coming up where you can grab a giant stein and soft pretzel as big as your face, writes Laura Swartz for Philadelphia Magazine.
Neshaminy Creek Brewing Company in Croydon has an Oktoberfest celebration that can be branded as a mini German-themed Olympics.
The brewery will host a series of competitions where contestants can show off their feats of beer-related strength. These can take the form of a weiner toss, stein-hoisting competition, or yodeling contest.
Neshaminy Creek’s Oktoberfest will take place September 21 from noon to 7 PM.
Peddler’s Village will be celebrating its 45th annual Scarecrows in the Village festival all month, and in between, it will host a weekend featuring food trucks, a beer garden, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities. The overall event is known as OctoberFeast.
The pay-as-you-go event will happen October 12-13.
