Altomonte’s, the iconic Italian market and delicatessen operating in Doylestown and Warminster, is launching a bakery and cafe, writes Jeff Werner for The Patch.  

Alto Bakery & Caffè which will open its doors to the Warminster community, will be offering an ample selection of authentic gourmet Italian fare including Roman pizza slices, gelato, sandwiches, cappuccino, and espresso.  

The cafe aims to accommodate a busy “grab-and-go” lifestyle while still serving food with fresh and quality ingredients.  

“We wanted to give our neighborhood this experience of homemade artisanal ‘slow’ food, that’s fast and convenient but also good for you,” said Alto Bakery & Caffè owners Maria Grispino Nappi and Vince Grispino.  

The pastries and baked goods are made from scratch-made doughs and Italian flour, indicative of the establishment’s dedication to authentic food.
