The great Philadelphia salary report of 2024 is out, providing us with a chance to see what locals are earning, from CEOs and athletes to drag queens and 911 dispatchers, writes Victor Fiorillo for Philadelphia Magazine.

With $32.1 million, Comcast CEO Brian Roberts is the highest-paid CEO at any publicly traded company in the region.

He is followed by the CEO of Exton-based software company Bentley Systems, Gregory Bentley, who makes $18.44 million.

Next is Steven Collis, CEO of Conshohocken-based Cencora, formerly AmerisourceBergen, who brings in $16.74 million.

But despite the millions in compensation, they are not the highest earners in the region. That title goes to athletes. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, makes a whopping $51 million, while Joel Embiid, 76ers center, takes home $47.6 million.

Among the more moderate earners is Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker, with her pay of $261,497, and District Attorney Larry Krasner, who makes $211,495.

Being a drag queen also pays well, according to Brittany Lynn.

“A lady never reveals her age or how much money she makes,” she said. “But you can safely say over $200,000.”

911 dispatchers make $52,519, while Wawa pays full-time, overnight workers $40,520.
