Of the 100 best companies to work for in the United States, two of them are located in Delaware County, writes Ryan Mulligan for Philadelphia Business Journal.

Power Home Remodeling in Chester had the highest rank among the Delaware County companies, placing 13^th on the Fortune Magazine list. It was back on the list after falling off the top 100 last year and ranking 70^th in 2021.

Ninety-six percent of the employees surveyed called the exterior home remodeler a “great place to work.”

The company was credited for its open suggestion box and the Power Women’s initiative to increase female representation in the construction industry.

SAP America headquartered in Newtown Square placed 52nd, moving up two spots from No. 54 in 2022.

In the region, Comcast placed highest on the national list, breaking the top 10 at No. 9.

Local favorite Wawa did not make the top 100 list, but its rival, Sheetz, did, coming in at No. 58.  It was the only other Pennsylvania company to make Fortune’s list.

The top companies to work for in the nation are Cisco Systems, Hilton and American Express.

The list only looked at companies with at least 1,000 employees and excludes government agencies.
