Delaware County felt the tug of spring for a few days. Despite some cooler temperatures now, it won’t be long until warmer temperatures once again pull us outdoors.

Here are two places in Delaware County where you might want to welcome Spring, reports WorldAtlas.

Despite its small-town feel, Media Borough is a competitive spring destination.

Tyler Arboretum is home to the Painter Trail, which cuts through dense woodlands and multicolored wildflowers, with magnolias and dogwoods on view.

Nearby Ridley Creek State Park is a 2,600-acre nature preserve with options for hiking, fly fishing, biking and picnicking.

Media is also well known for its thriving arts scene, with downtown galleries and the Media Center for the Performing Arts.

The annual Media Spring Arts Show features more than 100 artists and crafters.

Down the road is Glen Mills where nature enthusiasts will enjoy Newlin Grist Mill Park, 160 acres of diverse natural habitats. You can hike the trails and take in spring hues of pink, yellow, purple, and white wildflowers.

Over at Bonner Park, there is a 2.6-mile walking loop.

Glen Mills also has kid-friendly experiences, like the Kids’ Dream Playground. They can also have up-close encounters with different farm animals at the Arasapha Farm.
