Agave Mexican Cuisine

For this Chadds Ford restaurant, try the fish tacos, with mahi-mahi, red-cabbage coleslaw, sliced avocado and chipotle aioli. Fresh ceviche is also popular.

Buena Onda

Another Mexican option is Buena Onda in Radnor.

Jose Garces’ Baja-inspired menu offers up seafood and classic tacos, bowls, nachos, and more. A winter weekend recommendation is the Red Chili Short Rib Buena Bowl.

Estia Greek Tavern

This Greek Tavern in Wayne features three marinated lamb chops charcoal-grilled and served with Greek fried potatoes and tzatziki.  There’s also some outstanding Greek wines.

Rosalie

Also in Wayne, Rosalie offers Italian soul food, with gnocchi dishes a specialty. Go with the alla romana style.  And don’t miss out on the Black Manhattan cocktail. 

Sher-e-Punjab

At this Media locale, Chef Zail Singh Shergill’s masalas and paneers are recommended. Plus, there’s live music on Friday and Saturday nights.

Teikoku Restaurant

In Newtown Square, Master sushi chef Koichi Aoyama creates nontraditional tastes for the fresh-fish aficionado. The restaurant has an interior teahouse setting and water features.
