By comparison, the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District placed 236th on the national list.

Unionville-Chadds Ford School District fell significantly from 97th last year to No. 242 this year but still received an “A+” rating from Niche.

Garnet Valley School District came in 263rd. Springfield placed 311th. Marple Newtown came in at 360. Haverford placed 411th, with Rose Tree Media ranking at 518th best school district in America.

This is the 10th year that Niche has released its school district rankings.  It assessed 12,192 school districts in the United States using U.S. Department of Education data.

Niche looked at state test scores, SAT and ACT scores, graduate rates and college readiness to determine its national rankings.
