Montgomery County-based luxury homebuilder Toll Brothers has plans to build 358 homes on 140 acres in North Carolina, writes Collin Huguley for Charlotte Business Journal.

Toll Brothers, based in Fort Washington, recently acquired the land in Huntersville which is just outside Charlotte.

The company bought the land for just over $15 million through an affiliated entity, according to real estate records. The 140 acres were owned by several property owners.

“It’s too soon to share community details but we expect to break ground next summer,” said Ryan Switzer, Toll Brothers’ division president in Charlotte.

“The community will feature 358 home sites, exciting new open floor plans, and onsite amenities.”

Toll Brothers has been gradually expanding its portfolio in the Charlotte area. It also has a Griffith Lake project and a townhome project in the works in the area.
