The Arc of Chester County was excited to host its Holiday Fun Fest event last Saturday for the first time since 2019.

The event was extremely well-received, with close to 150 families and children attending.

The Arc holiday fun fest featured not only Santa and Mrs. Claus but also a freeze dance with Frosty, a life-size gingerbread house, cookie decorating, a pancake breakfast, crafts, games, and prizes to commemorate all the holidays celebrated during the season.

“It was great to see Santa and Mrs. Claus again. This is the only Santa we visit, and we are so happy they are back. We loved the cookie decorating and can’t thank The Arc enough for such a wonderful event,” shared parent Melissa Castle Williams.

The Arc of Chester County was thrilled to welcome back the Upper Main Line Rotary as the volunteers for this event who cooked and served the pancake breakfast to all attendees. Joining in to support the fun was the Conestoga High School Interact Club members.

“We were so grateful to have our friends at the Upper Main Line Rotary and the high school students to help us bring back this event, a tradition that embodies the heart of our organization’s mission,” said Jeanne Meikrantz, CEO of The Arc of Chester County. “We are committed to inclusivity, acceptance and having accommodations for all individuals and families to feel welcome and to have a memorable holiday experience.
