The Foundation for Delaware County announces there will be a 24-hour Delco Gives Day, a community celebration with an opportunity to make donations on-line and in-to hundreds of local nonprofits.

The Foundation for Delaware County has a new Delco Gives Day scheduled for May 8-9, 2024.

Delco Gives Day will be a 24-hour community-wide celebration that brings together nonprofits, businesses, and community members to amplify philanthropy and foster community engagement in Delaware County.

Beginning May 8-9, 2024, donors can visit DelcoGives.org from any computer, smartphone, device, or in-person drop-off site.

There, you can explore and donate to any of the hundreds of local nonprofit organizations serving Delaware County.

Donations will be eligible for cash prizes made possible by Delco Gives sponsors.

Delco Gives Day will also include a series of in-person celebratory events throughout the county that add to the excitement and make Delco Gives a true community-wide, community-building event.

Giving days have proven to be highly successful in communities across the county.

For example, in neighboring counties, giving days raise millions of dollars each year for their communities.

Extra Give in Lancaster raised $10.2 M in 2022 from 25K donors, and Give Local York raised $4.6 M from 10K donors.
