Philadelphia Business Journal has included Marguerite Kraftson Fell, senior vice president for advancement at Media-based Elwyn, as one of its “Women of Influence” for 2023.

Kraftson Fell is part of the executive team running the $400 million nonprofit, writes Lisa Dukart for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Elwyn provides education, treatment, and support for more than 20,000 children with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and related behavioral health challenges.

She’s spent more than 20 years working for nonprofits and has led campaigns that have collectively raised more than $200 million.

Kraftson Fell was inspired to work for nonprofits, watching her parents and grandparents volunteer while she was growing up.

Much of her career focuses on individuals with disabilities.

These days, the best word to describe her is “determined.”

Under her leadership, fundraising has grown 80 percent at Elwyn. She has raised $20 million and is reimagining the nonprofit’s headquarters so it can better serve its population.

“I am honored to have the opportunity to shape the way care is delivered to children and adults with developmental and behavioral health challenges to make their lives better every day,” Kraftson Fell said.
