Delaware County Wawas and beyond will be participating in a spinoff of the convenience store chains’ popular Hoagiefest celebration, which offers deals on the Philly staple food, writes Franki Rudnesky for The Philly Voice.

To fuel up for the playoffs, Phillies slugger Kyle Schwarber is re-introducing a Wawa promotion, named after himself. Customers can score five-dollar Shorti hoagies and six-dollar classic hoagies through post-season.

This is the second iteration of ‘Schwarberfest’, which was launched last year in honor of the Phillies making the World Series.

The ‘Schwarbomb’, was also rolled out at the beginning of baseball season. This energy drink is flavored with mango and dragon fruit.

“Our home team has done it again by earning another hard-fought postseason berth so we’re bringing ‘Schwarberfest’ back to show our support and hopefully help our hometown team bring home a championship trophy,” said chief customer officer Alex Costabile
