If you’re looking for another version of Delaware County BBQ, you might want to check out Tanglewood Fire and Smoke, which is open at 148 Morton Ave in Folsom, writes Eric Henderson for PhillyBite Magazine.

The restaurant group was founded in 2021 by Jeffrey Ebert, a Walnut Hill College culinary program graduate.

Ebert is a 25-year chef in the catering and a la carte industries.

For the past 15 years, he has been a corporate chef at a large catering company in the Philadelphia area.

Tanglewood Fire and Smoke offers a comprehensive menu of Delaware County BBQ favorites and sandwiches, including smoked brisket, pulled pork, pulled chicken, ribs, and smoked kielbasa, with five available sauces.

Along with BBQ selections, the restaurant also features signature cheesesteaks including The Deep South Philly (pulled pork, long hot peppers, wilted arugula, provolone cheese, aioli sauce on a long roll); Liberty Cheesesteak (smoked brisket with queso cheese, caramelized onions, tomato relish on a long roll); and Smoked Chicken Cheesesteak (pulled chicken with queso cheese, tomato relish topped with chicken cracklings on a long roll).
