These Delaware County Towns Have the Top 50 Highest Rents in the State. Is One of Them Yours?
Philadelphia’s suburban communities make up half of the most expensive towns for rent in Pennsylvania, paying at least $700 more than the state average, writes Chris Ullery for Phillyburbs.com.
Eight Delaware County communities made a list of the top 50 most expensive towns in Pennsylvania to rent in. Two Delaware County towns made the top 10 most expensive towns for rent.
Rose Valley Borough came in 7th. It had a median gross rent per month of $2,438, with 17 renters.
Edgmont Township placed 9th, with a rent of $2,353 and 711 renters.
Middletown Township came in 18th out of 50, with a rent of $2,097 and 2,568 renters.
Chester Heights Borough placed 20th, with rents of $2,040 per month and 941 renters.
Bethel Township was 24th, with rents of $1,974 and 262 renters.
Concord Township was the 27th most expensive town in the state, with rents of $1,963 and 3,063 renters.
Thornbury Township was 37th, with a median gross rent of $1,857, with 137 renters.
Chadds Ford Township placed last on the top 50 in the state, with rents of $1,753 and 374 renters.
