A Horsham mother and high school teacher is reaching TikTok stardom. Katy Kahn, an 11th-grade English teacher at Mastery Charter, has reached over 4.5 million likes on her Horsham TikTok post for “theater-splaining” sports, writes Alicia Vitarelli for 6 ABC.  

Unlike her husband, Len, she’s not a sports fanatic. But that does not keep her from the commentary. She makes keen observations on the facial hair of Phillies’ players, and “pickup basketball.”  

She has considered musical theater her “team sport” since childhood, which is something her two children are involved in as well. 

“None of my friends like sports, none of us are into it,” she tells 6 ABC. “They are all very confused that this is my ‘shtick.’ It’s definitely authentic and they know that.”
