A video captured by a passing driver shows the moment that the southbound lanes on I-95 in Philadelphia starting to dip after the collapse of the northbound side following the explosion of a tanker truck, writes Ronny Reyes for the New York Post.

Retired Philadelphia police Sgt. Mark Fusetti was driving to Philadelphia International Airport on Sunday morning when he noticed dark smoke plumes over the highway.

The video he recorded shows the billowing smoke clouds that were engulfing the northbound lanes of the highway. As he continued to drive, he hit a sudden bump directly over the flames on the side, which knocked his camera over.

“When I drove through it, I hit a bump, it felt like a bump,” said Fusetti. “The bump I’m hitting is the southbound side of 95 that is now buckled.”

According to the officials, there were no reports of injuries or fatalities caused by the fire and collapsing roadway, but Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro said that at least one car was trapped beneath the rubble.

The overpass collapse was caused by an explosion of a tractor-trailer carrying “a petroleum-based product.”
