(Re) Solved, a 10-part series that debuted Thursday on VICE TV, is the latest project from Ridley High School graduate Steve McLaughlin.

The Delaware County native, who graduated in 1996, is the executive producer of the cable TV show, writes Peg DeGrassa for the Daily Times.

(Re)Solved is available on Verizon/Fios and other cable networks and streaming channels.

The hour-long episodes re-examine notorious and controversial Hollywood celebrity deaths, including Prince, Anna Nicole Smith, Heath Ledger, and others.

The show focuses on internet sleuths’ and professional investigators, with a new episode featured each week.

The first episode on Thursday at 9 PM was about Bob Saget.

McLaughlin is the son of Robert and Dorothy McLaughlin of Ridley Park. His wife, Helene McLaughlin, is a 1996 Ridley graduate and a graphic arts teacher.

McLaughlin has been working in TV production in New York City for the past 20 years.

In 2022, he and Kevin Taddei, also a Ridley High alum, offered an alternative look at the Menendez Brothers trial in a Discovery Channel show “Menendez Brothers Misjudges?” as part of a “Shocking Crimes of the 90s” series.

McLaughlin has worked on productions for Discovery, National Geographic, ID, A&E and others.
