If you’re ready to toast the Spring, you can do it with a flavorful rose’ wine from Grace Winery in Glen Mills, writes Michele Gargiulo for Main Line Tonight.

Some of the best rose’ wines come from Pennsylvania and the Grace Winery Rose’, pale pink in color, is no exception.

Rose’ wine can be a blend of red and white wines, a juice byproduct of the grape harvest, or a product of winemakers who mix grape juices with crushed grapes.

Winemakers can also remove some juice early in the process of making red wine.

The Grace Winery Rosé is primarily made from Pinot Noir but the blend will vary depending on the harvest.

Winemaker Andrew Yingst crafts his rose’ with a few hours of skin contact, which creates a beautiful pink hue.

The granite soil where the Pinot grapes are grown creates a palate of strong minerality.

Crisp apples, crushed raspberries, and orange blossoms are brought to life in this lean, refreshing wine.

Enjoy it with grilled prawns while sitting in the sunshine.

Grace Winery is one of six Pennsylvania wineries with recommended rose’ wines, but the only one in Delaware County.
