Yelp recently compiled a national list of the 50 most-loved brands across the restaurant, food, and retail nationwide landscapes. Invision magazine reported the user-ranked roster.

The methodology Yelp employed scanned commercial businesses in more than 200 U.S. locations, seeking those with at least 500 reviews from 2022, one of which covered the brand’s multiple sites.

Analysts then assigned “loyalty scores,” the brand’s overall rating measured against the percentage of business pageviews by returning visitors.

David’s Bridal in Conshohocken landed in the No. 40 position.

The distinction becomes a glimmer of good news for a brand that has seen its ups and downs in the past five years. It recently filed for bankruptcy for the second time and earlier this month, announced plans to cut employees.

The No. 1 brand nationwide was Trader Joe’s, followed by Nothing Bundt Cakes and Kung Fu Tea, the New York-based bubble tea hops.

Takeaways from the Yelp brand favorites analysis came from Kadecia Ber, advertising trends expert and Director of Enterprise Solutions at Yelp.

“Brands that focus on building local communities are well-represented on our list,” said Ber. “Trader Joe’s … employees know the locals and often go out of their way to help [them]. This is what consumers value and reward.”

The full Yelp brand favorites list, including David’s Bridal, is at Invision.
