Philadelphia-based fast-casual chain honeygrow is planning to open a new location in the Lawrence Park Shopping Center in Broomall, writes Max Bennett for Patch.

Officials said the new location should open in June.

The company announced back in November 2022 that it was opening a Broomall location as part of a dozen new stores in the Philadelphia region and Maryland.

Founder Justin Rosenberg pushed for an expansion once the casual food chain had achieved brand awareness, according to a November 2022 Philadelphia Business Journal article.

“We really learned a lot over the last 10 years at this point on who we are, what works, what doesn’t work,” Rosenberg said in the article. “And we’re a disciplined group. You know, we’re excited to grow, but at the same time, we’re not going to make deals that don’t make any sense.”

Rosenberg founded honeygrow in 2012 with a Center City flagship location.

There are now 30 locations, half in and around Philadelphia.

Honeygrow’s menu features five year-round stir-fries — all under 800 calories —six salads, and a signature honeybar dessert.

For those with diet preferences, meals are available in paleo, keto, vegan, high protein, or Whole 30.
