Philadelphia Business Journal has placed three Delaware County companies as finalists on its list of 2022 healthiest employers with the best health benefits.
The annual list recognizes workplaces in the region that encourage a healthy environment for their employees.
Making the 2022 list were Smart Park Inc. and Expresspark Inc. in Essington, Global Tax Management in Wayne and Lincoln Financial, with headquarters in Radnor.
Smart Park was listed in the micro category for companies with 2 to 99 employees. Global Tax Management was under small companies with 100 to 499 employees and Lincoln Financial was listed under extra large with 5,000 or more employees.
With many employees returning to the office, some companies are looking at the health and wellness benefits offered to the modern worker, writes Lisa Dukart for Philadelphia Business Journal.
New ideas in healthcare like telehealth and mental health benefits are now part of health package considerations and are a top priority for employees.
Other goals triggered by the pandemic include virtual fitness, health and nutrition coaching, mental health resource access, and inclusion of dependents.
