This rapper’s creative juices mixed with the irresistible flavors of a Wawa hoagie and the end result is now a viral music video extolling the virtues of everything Wawa.

But the irony of it all is that, what Philly rapper Aaron Out has created, he can no longer enjoy. He switched to a vegan diet last month before the video gained traction, according to a Philadelphia magazine report by Victor Fiorillo.

“I was at work one day, and I forgot my lunch,” said Aaron Out, a 2011 Abington High School graduate. “I hadn’t eaten. I was pretty stressed and tired, and I went to Wawa and smelled the deli food, and I just thought, I should try to make a song about it.”

He wrote the lyrics, and his roommate produced it.

“He’s really outdone himself with ‘Wawa Hoagies,’ his new song and video paying tribute to the almighty Shorti and all those other things that make us love Wawa,” the article stated.
