The twin Keller brothers, who both serve as local postmasters with the U.S. Postal Service, followed the example of their father when looking to do a good job, writes Peg DeGrassa for the Daily Times.

Joe Keller is postmaster of the Morton Post Office.  His twin brother Mike is postmaster of Swarthmore Post Office and the officer-in-charge of the Marcus Hook Post Office.

Their father, John Keller, whom they describe as their “No. 1 hero” is the retired postmaster of the Ridley Park Post Office.

“I am sure the Keller family legacy has touched the lives of thousands of customers. We are proud of their dedication and commitment to the Postal Service,” said Paul Smith, spokesperson for the Eastern Area Office.

John was with the Postal Service for 34 years, 15 of them as postmaster, serving Morton, Sharon Hill, Folcroft, and Ridley Park.

“It’s the greatest feeling ever, to sit around and talk with my sons about the post office,” John shared, as he looked proudly at the two current postmasters.

The retiree now works for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia as a Sacristan at St. Madeline Parish in Ridley Park, a position he’s held since retiring 25 years ago.
