While remote work remains a contested issue within companies, there’s no doubt that it’s here to stay. In fact, there are many high-paying remote jobs out there, according to the jobs site Ladders Inc.  

The website conducted an analysis of high-paying remote jobs and was able to identify the top fields that had the most work-from-home opportunities.  

Sales Engineering  

Average annual salary according to ZipRecruiter: $115,000  

A sales engineer assists in the development and sale of technological products and services to businesses. They also recommend improvements to the product.  

Account Management  

Average salary: $67,600  

An account manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of a client’s account within a business. 

DevOps  

Average salary: $116,800  

A DevOps engineer or manager would be a typical position within this field. An engineer has wide-ranging IT knowledge. A person in this position would have good interpersonal skills in order to collaborate with other teams.  

Technical Product Management  

Average salary: $118,057  

A perfect person for this position would have a strong technical background. They focus on technical aspects of the product to understand its nuances. 

Brand Marketing  

Average salary: $70,000 

A brand marketing manager oversees the production of marketing materials and maintains the budget as well as working with other teams to execute a marketing plan.
