It used to be quite common that remote jobs were largely for freelancers or contracted employees. But if you think that is still the case, there is quite a bit you are missing out on.

Go Banking Rates compiled some high-quality positions that are currently not only available to work remotely, but also can pay over $200,000.

Clinical Psychologist

With telehealth now much more common, some patients have even grown to prefer being able to get treatment from the comfort of their own homes. It would still require all the same experience and accreditation that a psychologist would typically need, but you do have the option to specialize in a virtual practice.

Sales Executive

If you have sales experience, there are companies like Incognia that currently have openings with a salary between $200,000 and $250,000, plus 22 days of paid time off per year.

Clinical Assessor

Another role related to the medical field involves performing clinical assessments and intakes for clients to help provide them a diagnosis. A company like Advancing Communities Everywhere is offering between $250,000 and $300,000 for the position.

Principal Full Stack Engineer

For the programmers out there, IT Pros is a remote company in Philadelphia looking for someone who knows how to operate with distributed SQL databases, middleware, and similar technologies. They are paying between $200,000 to $220,000.

Entrepreneur in Residence

Mechanism is one company seeking this role which basically amounts to providing assistance to entrepreneurs looking to start their own businesses. You would be conducting research for the clients and helping them with the launch of their business.

Director of Engineering

If you know about software engineering, you can work for one of the most influential companies in the world, Meta (the owner of Facebook). They are currently looking for someone to lead their software team, and will pay you up to $261,000 to work remotely.

Still think you need to be on-site to have a good job? Many companies are embracing remote workers and compensating them highly for their efforts.
