See Which Seven Delaware County School Districts Placed Among Top 50 in Pennsylvania for 2023

Delaware County has seven of the top 50 school districts in Pennsylvania for 2023, according to a new ranking by Niche.

To determine the 2023 Best School Districts in Pennsylvania, Niche performed an analysis of data provided by the U.S. Department of Education along with millions of reviews submitted by students and parents. Factors that were evaluated include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, and more.

There was no change at the top of the list compared to last year, as Radnor Township School District was once again crowned as the best in the state with an average graduation rate of 97 percent. Eighty-eight percent of its students are proficient in reading and 78 percent are proficient in math.

Next is Wallingford-Swarthmore School District, which also broke the top ten in ninth place, followed by Garnet Valley School District at No. 12 and Springfield School District at No. 24.

Haverford Township School District is at No. 26, while Marple Newtown School District ranked at No. 29.

The list is rounded out by Rose Tree Media School District at No. 34.
