U.S. News & World Report looked at 718 Pennsylvania high schools and ranked them in the state and nationally.
Making the top 10, Radnor High School jumped up to the third position in the state, while ranking 270th nationally.
Radnor had a 98% graduation rate for 1,195 students. There was a 65.9% college readiness among the students.
Unionville High School in the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District in western Delaware County and southeastern Chester County ranked sixth in the state and 359th nationally. There was a 97% graduation rate for 1,334 students who had a college readiness of 59.2%.
Strath Haven High School in the Wallingford-Swarthmore School District ranked 21st in the state, dropping from 16th last year. It was 702nd nationally.
Haverford High School placed 23rd in the state this year and 753 nationally.
Penncrest High School in Media was further down, coming in at 48th in the state, 1,316th nationally. Last year it came in 41st.
The rankings for the high schools were determined based on college readiness, state assessment proficiency, state assessment performance, underserved student performance, college curriculum breadth and graduate rate.
