Four Delaware County communities are on a regional list where homes for sale are flying off the market, writes Ryan Mulligan for Philadelphia Business Journal.

Most homes for sale in the Philadelphia metro area in June were on the market for a median of 37 days, but 27 ZIP Codes in Greater Philadelphia saw median homes on the market for 14 days or less.

 Zip Codes for Ridley Park, Morton, Folcroft and Swarthmore all made the list:

Ridley Park, 19078

These homes spent 12 median days on the market. The median list price was $299,000. 

Morton, 19070

Morton’s homes also spent 12 median days on the market. The median list price was $325,000.

Folcroft, 19032

These homes spent 9 median days on the market. The median list price was $204,950.

Swarthmore, 19081

These homes only spent 7 median days on the market. The median list price was $554,000.

Even with rising prices and mortgage rates, and declining inventory, purchases have not slowed.  For this June, the 37-day median time on the market in Greater Philadelphia is the same time as June a year ago.
