State COVID-19 Cases Up Slightly for June 24, But Overall Still in Decline

No COVID-19 county or municipal statistics, including the number of new cases and deaths were available for Thursday, June 24 from the Chester County Health Department.

The health department is reporting a total of 1,457 related deaths in Delaware County as of June 23.

Of those, 838 were in long-term care facilities and personal care homes.

Fatalities have been reported in 48 of the county’s 49 municipalities.

There were a total of 49,855 cases in Delaware County as of June 23.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed as of noon, June 24, there were 221 new cases of COVID-19 statewide. Total cases now number 1,211,041.

The state is reporting 15 COVID-19 deaths for Thursday, June 24.. Total deaths are 27,627.
