Director of the Dowdy Multicultural Center

This position provides leadership, management, vision, and oversight for a broad and inclusive programming model that enhances the academic, social, professional, and personal development of all students. He/she actively contributes to the university’s strategic efforts to affect a positive campus climate, while focusing specific attention on the support of WCU’s underrepresented minorities, from enrollment through graduation.

The ideal candidate will possess a master’s or doctoral degree in higher education, student affairs, counseling education, or related discipline; at least six years professional experience in appropriate levels and areas of specialization; and evidence of supervision of multiple full-time professionals, graduate assistants, and student employees.

Executive Director of Budget and Planning, Finance and Administration Division

This position is responsible for the oversight of the finances for the Finance and Administration division, including budget development, financial analysis and monitoring, providing financial support for the divisional directors, and serving as financial advisor to the AVP Finance & Business Services, AVP for Facilities, Chief Human Resources Officer, and AVP for Public Safety.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business or a related field; five years of professional experience in budgetary and data analysis; and experience in a higher education, government, or nonprofit environment.

Associate Director of the Center for Civic Engagement & Social Impact

This position leads efforts to promote and support academic service-learning and faculty engagement across campus and manages community partnerships. As a member of the West Chester University Resource Pantry Oversight Team, the Associate Director plays a key role in efforts to address student basic needs insecurity.

The ideal candidate will have a master’s degree in education, student affairs, social work, or another other field closely related to student and community development; at least four years of professional experience in appropriate levels and areas of specialization; and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with postsecondary faculty and nonprofits.
