New COVID-19 Cases in Pennsylvania Also Showing a Trend Downward

No COVID-19 Delaware County or municipal statistics, including the number of new cases and COVID-19 deaths for Thursday, May 20, were available from the Chester County Health Department.

On Wednesday, May 19, the department reported 1,431 COVID-19-realted deaths in the county.

Of those, 838 were in long-term care facilities and personal care homes.

There were 50 new positive cases reported Wednesday, as the county’s new COVID-19 cases continue to trend downward.

Total cases as of Wednesday was 48,131.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed as of noon, May 20, that there were 1,430 additional cases of COVID-19 statewide for Thursday, May 20. Total cases are now 1,191,532.

There were 40 additional COVID-19 deaths reported statewide for Thursday, May 20. Total deaths statewide are now 26,965.
