Pennsylvania Reports 4,255 New Cases of COVID-19 for April 6, With Total Cases Now 1,049,655

No COVID-19 county or municipal statistics, including the number of new cases and COVID-19 deaths, were available for Tuesday, April 6, from the Chester County Health Department.

As of Monday, the health department was reporting a total of 1,346 COVID-19-related deaths in Delaware County.

Of those, 821 were in long-term care facilities and personal care homes.

The health department was reporting a 89.72 percent recovery rate as of April 5.

The Pennsylvania Department of Health confirmed as of noon, April 6, there were 4,255 new cases of COVID-19 statewide. Total cases now number 1,049,655.

The state is reporting 37additional COVID-19 deaths for Tuesday, April 6. The statewide death toll is now 25,237
